Repair Microsoft Edge Application

If the Microsoft Edge is not opening after Restart and Windows Updates, then you need to repair it manually through PowerShell

Go to Start an type Run or Press Window Key + R to launch run window
Now type C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Packages
Look for the folder with name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe
Open the folder and delete all its contents
Open the PowerShell and run it as administrator
Now type the following command in PowerShell

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -Verbose}

Press Enter and exit the editor
Try to Open the Edge browser again

Clear Cache/ Browsing History/ Data

If the edge open then, you can prevent it from creating problems by clearing the cache and browsing history as follows

Open Microsoft Edge and Click on Hub
Click on History and then Clear all history
Select the browsing history, select all items in cache memory and then remove all items
Restart system and open Microsoft Edge
