How could i host a private cs 1.6 game server ( to play with my friends)?

Hello,
I don't know how to host a private room/server in cs 1.6 to play with my friends. Could anyone plz help me !

Well if you wish to host it on the interent, you are going to need a router capabke of providing netwrok address translation, or NAT. Do you plan on intranet, or internet hosting?

Do you know what NAT is? You need a device that can provide NAT. That is what translates a public ip address, into a local one.
