Monitor keeps receiving a signal then turns to power save mode

I plugged my monitor into my xbox and it works fine, but on my PC it will turn on for 10 seconds then go to power save mode. I took out the video card and put it back where it was, that didn’t work so i put it into a different slot and i still have the same issue.

HDMI is not a standard. Not all HDMI devices are required by the industry to play with all other HDMI products. It is not like SATA, or other hardware STANDARDS.

Hello,
I am trying to connect my laptop to a monitor. The monitor worked fine with a pc when I last used it, a while ago. I have recently used the same laptop with another monitor, and that worked fine. But those two together... the best I managed was to get the monitor to show me the laptop's desktop for 2 seconds before going back to safe mode. Any idea what's going on??

My Lenova Desktop Computer won't turn on, stays in Power Saving Mode.

My PC turns on the light lights up the monitor just says power saving mode and then just turns off and sits there.
Removed the RAM and carefully cleaned it with Eraser.
I also removed the CMOS battery and replaced after a minute or more but I can't get away with the issue here.

PLEASE HELP

My monitor does not have a remote. Since my computer does not come on screen how do I shut off power saving mode

Hello,
My old graphics card I'm pretty sure died on me because it said No Input signal and when I turned on the computer The light turns on and I opened it up all the fans are running. I just took my RAM out and switched them and I haven't heard any beeping or anything The CD-ROM opens when I press the button and have tried like 5 different D-sub cables and a DVI to D-Sub adapter. I took all the cords out of my Monitor and computer and took out all the cords and cleaned them with air and then plugged in the Power cord and DVI to the monitor and computer and still nothing works. Then I took out my old graphics card and put this new graphics card in and I turned it off and placed it in...

secondary monitor stays in power save mode

Hello,

My dell monitors will not function as secondary monitors for my lenovo X1.
With another X1 they perform ok. All monitors (I have tested 5), fail in the same way, they go into "Entering power save" mode on power up, or connection to the X1. All cables and monitors have been checked with other computer and another X1.

The X1 detects the existence of the monitor (shows it as secondary monitor in windows control panel), but monitor briefly shows "entering power save mode" and goes blank.
