This is the best answer from this forum where a similar problem like this was solved. Here is that solution:
- Unplug the power cord
- Remove the battery
- Remove the RAM from the slot
- Hold the power button for 60 seconds
- Place the RAM back into the slot
- Connect the power supply then try to switch ON the laptop and later put the battery back into the laptop.
