If it's not due to an incorrect password, Yahoo's server is more than likely not recognizing your account because you are not typing in your Yahoo email username/sign-in correctly.
If this doesn't fix the problem and you're sure it's not your password being typed wrong, you more than likely have exceeded the 90 days of inactivity of keeping your account alive (meaning if your account has been inactive or not logged into for it's allowed time of idleness, it is simply deleted off the Yahoo server and you may have to register your username/email handle all over again).
