Temporarily Locked account

Hello,

I’ve recently encountered a problem to which my Instagram has been temporarily locked. When I click continue, it brings me to a screen where I can then use my email to receive a code and confirm my identity, however, it is not sending me the code no matter how long I wait. I’ve done everything, used a VPN, reinstalled, tried on different devices, checked other email folders, waited a couple days, and to no avail, I’m getting nothing.

I cannot attach images so this is what it says: “ We've detected suspicious activity on your Instagram account and have temporarily locked it as a security precaution.

It's likely that your account was compromised as a result of entering your password on a website designed to look like Instagram. This attack is known as phishing.

Over the next few steps we'll ask you to verify your identity to help secure your account, and let you log back in.”
