Try logging in using your credentials from a familiar device, browser and location if you know your password. In case Instagram won't let you access the account, I'm afraid that recovery will not be possible, unless you've registered a mobile number...

I appreciate your response.
However, I have gone through all the steps and nowhere it states anything about mistyped email.
The ***@*** is not reachable.
Is there anything else that comes to your mind? Thank you in advance.
By the way, I had to to factory reset my iPhone in order to regain access to the app, but now the account remains with a mistyped email.
