Yahoo used to delete the account after 90 days of inactivity but now it updated the tenure up to 365 days. So, you need to contact Yahoo support regarding the same.
However, before doing this make sure that you entered the correct login credentials. You can also try to restore access to your yahoo account using a backup email address or recovery phone no.
To do this just visit https://login.yahoo.com/account/challenge/session-expired?authMechanism=secondary&done=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.yahoo.com%2F. It will provide a confirmation code to your backup email address or phone no.

How do I recover my Yahoo email account?
