Hello,

I have a toshiba qosmio x875-q7380.  There was a mandatory update being installed that failed part way through.   It corrupted the hard drive and partitions.  There was no choice but to erase both HDD.  Now when you turn on the computer it says no bootable device- please restart system.   The only thing I can access now is the bios using F12 at start-up.   Therefore I need the original factory disk to reinstall the OS with the drivers for this laptop and features.  I believe the original version of Windows was win 8 and I upgraded to 8.1 then win 10.  Either way I am looking for the factory disk to not only get the OS restored but I need the camera, DVD burner etc to work.

where do I get the restore disk with both the OS and original applications?
Android / Chrome 110.0.0.0

Hi,

You should try contacting Toshiba/Dynabook Support to see if they can send you a copy of the original recovery disk in order to reinstall your laptop.

Alternatively, download a Windows 10 disk image to install the latest operating system compatible with your laptop, then reinstall the applications and drivers manually by downloading them from the manufacturer's website.

Good luck
