Magic Needed- keyboard issues, please help

I really hope y'all can help. I have an Hp laptop with vista , there have been no spills or damage. The issue is that when I went to go type something all my keys were messed up. For instance, when I push backspace a back slash appears, when I hit the letter I, o. appears, when I hit 5 on the key pad 50 comes up. These are just a few samples! Any suggestions?!? Please work some magic!!!

hi,

it seems that the keyboard is faulty.

get it repaired by HP company or buy an external keyboard and connect it to the computer.

the external keyboard is the cheapest way.
