I have a 80 gig ps3 and I wanted to watch a blue ray disc last night and it said I needed to do a system update in order to do so. I used a wire connection(ethernet cord) and everytime I tried to get online it said that it has timed out trying to get my IP address. So I went and manualy entered my IP address and got the same result.. timed out.. this is very frustrating. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it. I hooked my ethernet cord directly from my modem where my comp is. Computer works fine can get online with no problem.. Please help..
