Hi folks,
I had the same problem and this is what I did to get it sorted.
I used a program called CPUZ (it identify's hardware in a PC like Memory, Processor and main board) and I got the Chipset name and model number from that. Turned out it was an Intel GL960 Chipset which I found on the Intel Website.
Here's the link to the ZIP format of the Chipset Installer :
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/confirm.aspx?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/18053/a08/infinst911autol.zip&agr=&ProductID=&DwnldId=18053&strOSs=&OSFullName=&lang=eng
You have to use the ZIP version as the automated installer doesn't install the SM bus Controller. Once you down load it and Unzip it, go into device manager and choose update driver on the SM Bus Controller and then direct it to the ALL folder in the folder you just unzipped. Job done.
Happy Surfing folks.
Cheers,
TQ.
