Seagate 500gb fell down

Hello,
my seagate 500gb external hard disk fell down. now i feel tht its not working as fast as it was. no data loss or anything is there. only speed seems to be slow. what could be the problem?

Hi there,

try to transfer all the data to your pc and format the drive

if still the same issue ,

change the drive casing
