WD elements 320 GB Solved/Closed

Question

Hello,
 I am having trouble draggin items into my newly purchased WD elements external hardrive. I have read the posts , but still find it no help. Can someone please explain to me in baby steps what the " apple utility disk is" , and what "partition" means? My buddies PC picks up the drive fine , but my macbook says it's not formatted, anyone help please!

You have a macbook! To use this hard drive, you simply have to format it before using...
