can't connect to wireless internet on 2nd lap Closed

Hello,
 I'm at my girlfriends, and she has a wireless connection (dsl) for her laptop, and I can log my laptop on to her network, but I can't get the internet to come up.  Is there a setting on my laptop I need to adjust?  They're both Dell 1500's.  Thanks

hi there,

reset the ip

open run

type cmd and enter command prompt

type ipconfig/release

ipconfig/flushdns

and ipconfig/renew

now its ready for the connection

enter the wep key if required

Think you're trying to connect to wireless network but failed, take a look on following wireless network troubleshooting tips to get more ideas. If there is no router involved, then you need to enable Internet connection sharing on her laptop to share Internet. Hope this helps.
