My toshiba laptop not detecting any hdd

Hello,
please can sme1 tell me wat to do? My laptop isnt detecting any hard disk drive. i've tried purchasing 3 new hdd but to no avail. some 1 told me it might be the rom bios but am not sure.

Dear Sir,

There must be a problem with your bios!!

I will advise you to set the bios settings to default!

And then try to detect the hard drive again
