My internet is connected but i cant surf

Hello,
my internet is connected and the signal is Very Good, but nothing is working like skype or msn or internet explorer , but on the other computers at home are working ,, so no problem with the router. and i've checked the ip on other and on mine ,, it looks fine but not working , and for more details this problems happened after i updated Windows online, and scanned avast and deleted problems.. waiting reply please

hi there,

renew your ip

go to command mode

type ipconfig/release

then ipconfig/flush dns

and ipconfig /renew

thanks but its giving me after i wrote ipconfig/release
windows ip configuration
no operation can be perfomed on local area connection while it has its media disconnected
