Hello,
my internet will only connect to sites that are saved in my favorites or that are bookmarked.. it will not allow me to connect to anysites if i try to search for them or type them into the browser..does anyone have any ideas or info???

Dear Sir,
I believe that you are working offline and the sites that have been loaded are all offline web pages.
I will hence advise you to deactivate the Work Offline option.
This will allow you to get on internet.

If your computer is connected to Internet, you should be able to use nslookup to resolve URL or domain name. And also you should be able to ping those URL or domain name without problem.
