Can't connect to the internet

Hello,
my computer shut down while i was uninstalling panda now i can't access the internet. On the internet icon on the bottom left corner it says I'm says not connected but when I click to choose to connect it says I'm connected with limited access. I'm using Vista and I've tried everything I can to fix it.

hi there,

what type of connection do you use?

is it wired or wireless?

please give more information
