Connecting vb.net to internet.

Hello,
I'm mac josel and we have a project now. Our instructor said that it is a self study. He told us to make a program using vb.net and connect it to internet but I can't find the code on how to connect it to internet. I hope you help us to have that code A.S.A.P. Thanks.

Oh I'm about the firefox I using. It is 3.0.11
