Internet conn loss

Hello,
i m using reliance net connect modem 4 net connection.few days back my laptop cudnot boot up n startd makin short beep sirens..aft trouble shooting it booted up finally but nw m nt able to connect to internet.it shows "remote computer could not be connected"..i tried connecting it to LAN thinkn my modem is not workin but it dint work too...please help...i tried pingn..no result....

hi there,

check your connection cables

try to ping 127.0.0.1

and also check your drivers in device manager

if missing you must reinstall
