Toshiba Laptop problem

Hello,
I have had a problem with my laptop. When the computer loads, I can not type anything, not a wrod document or on line, I was looking for a number lock key but I do not see one. I am typing this message from another computer ,so can anyone help me please.

hi there,

plug a usb keyboard to it and check

if this works then you have a hardware problem and need to change the keyboard
