Nothing but IE connects to the internet

My laptop is connected the internet through a wireless connection operated by a Wireless G router. The computer is operating Windows 7. I have a laptop using XP (also wireless) and a desktop with XP (hard wired) that do not have this problem. IE will connect to the internet without issue. At the same time, Firefox, iTunes, Norton Internet Security, and Microsoft Office all state that I am not connected to the internet. I have disabled IP6 and it didn't work, and I have ensured the Windows firewall is not the problem by disabling it. No luck. Any ideas?
