My modem lights are on but no internet conect

Hello,i have motorolla modem model nim100 and my modem lights comes on but it doesnt connect
to the internet through my ethernet cable through the back of my computer.i dont no why
it is doing that but if someone can please help that would be good.

hi there,

check the phone line as well as the lan cable

replace if needed

no it works if im not hooked up to the router, it also show packets sent and received when connected. the connection is there its something to do with my linksys set up. ip address has to be changed just cant remember what one.
