some times the reason is that the gray cable that is hooked to your hard drive does not work, i have problems with this a lot. even when i reinstasll windows after removing the hard drive to do a format. i found out that there is a number on the cable that was a 28. i need to change the cable to 32, this is stamped on all hard drives cables. i have gone threw 10 calbes within a year, because of unplogging all the time for some resone.
once you unhook the3 cable alot this happens. can not find hard drive. it is alwas in the cable.and some times on a boot. some times youeed to hit f1 to see if it sees it their, hope this helps
