No Internet connection/removed virus

Hello,

My internet won't connect. I just got rid of "vista internet security". I went through "regedit" and I may have deleted something important. The virus is gone but I can't connect. Have any ideas?

Does this computer have VISTA installed? You might be able to the VISTA repair disk to fix your problem.
