Cant get ont he internet

i cant get on the internet explorer threw my lap top it keeps saying it can not display the web page then i diagnose the problem and its says ur are not connected. i let my brother use it and im sure he opend up a bad porn link that gave me a virus. i cant get on internet explorer but i can get on msn and aim but not yahoo messenger for sum reason. i have a IBM lenovo X200 that uses microsoft business. if any one can help me with this it would be awsome. if u can please answer this threw my e mail brittanym1991@hotmail.com thanks!

Hello,
It is because of virus. If you have an antivirus check if you have viruses. If you don't buy Quick Heal. But I would suggest you format your computer. I too had the similar problem with some website. Please don't watch corrupt videos and stuff like porn and don't let your brother and anyone to do things like that.
