I have a problem with my new RAM, i gues thats where the problem is.
When i install the new RAM 2x2GB Crucial DDR2 6400, i dont get a beep sound when booting the pc, and get the "error" message on my screen, power saving modus.
When changing out with the old RAM or just ONE of the 2 new RAM the pc boots, but not with both of them. Have tried to test them each and pc boots with both apart from each other but not together.
How can i get it to work with both together?

MB: Asus M2N-X
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 x2 4200+ 2.21GHz
V.Card: Nvidia GeForce 8500GT
HDD: Maxtor 120GB
DVD burner
Old RAM: 2x 1GB PC2-5300 GEIL

Havent OC'ed anything on the pc aswell

Hi there,

Problem is frequency as you mentioned old one was pc -5300 and new new 6400,you need to change it back and take same frequency, use cpuz which will give you the amount of maximum of ram which can be added on your system, here is the free download link:
