Okay so idk what happened to my ipod but it was in my Ihome on the way back to missouri and the touch sensor stopped working and i try pressing the buttons to go to the next song or last or to play or pause or go to the menu but they won't work and i'm freaking out. I need your help how do i make it work again??

I suggest you go to this Apple web page. It has instructions for doing a "hard reset" of your ipod.
