IE6 has encountered a problem Closed

Question

Hello, 

I have IE6 problem:  "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Error Signature:

AppName: iexplore.exe
AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180
ModName: avgxpl.dll
ModVer: 8.5.0.401
Offset: 00023a74

Please help!

# Click on the Start menu
# Select Run
# type SFC /scannow then click OK (put a space between SFC and / scannow)
follow the instruction and wait
