Can't connect to internet but it says i can

Hello, I have a laptop that is saying connected to the internet but it wont let me connect. Actually when i click on my internet explorer, two Google will come up but that's as far as it goes. The other desktop connects and so does the other laptop in the house. What do i do?

Assuming you are using a wireless network.
Have you set the network key into the laptop wireless adapter as you have done with your other laptop
