Internet cant be connected!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello,
you see i gt a com frm my uncle office...it can be used....but recently it locked by itself...cant lock in no matter how we tried...my bro reformat in the end..after reformatting,we cant connected to the internet using our boardband modem...i cant connected to the internet no matter how many times we tried...is there any solutions to solve this prob???
plz advice..

are you sure that your brother installed the driver for this device and have you tried to querry the modem?

try to see if its successful
