Connect to the Internet

I have an hp that can't connect to the Internet. I have a mac that can. I have a modem and a router and the mac can connect wirelessly but the pc can't. The icon on the desktop shows that it's connected, however when I try to get online, it won't connect.

Hi there,

Please give more information on the hp and type on connection using to connect to internet on it,also in device manger please check if the drivers are all installed or not.
