No sound in IE8

Hello, can someone please help me. I am trying to get sound on internet explorer 8. I can listen to sound on windows explorer but when I try to hear a video or hear a song on you tube, mtv.com, my space, or any other kind of website it does not work please help. Thanks in advance.

Dear Sir,

Please consider checking whether you have the latest version of Flash Player in order to get it working correctly on every website.
