Wireless connection present but no internet

I have acer aspire one bought in india. It was working fine all these years(two). Recently i changed my router. It has a WAP2 security. All my laptops and apple pc seems to detect the wireless network and I can surf on internet. The Acer aspire also detects the network , gets connected to it showing excellent connection but I cannot load internet page.
I have tried resetting to factory status.
I have uninstalled the wireless network adaptor and reinstalled it.
Nothing seems to work.
Please help
