Hello,
I installed and ran some Norton software and now when I start my PC, no icons appear on the desktop. As mentioned in other posts, the registry HKEY entries for explorer.exe and iexplorer.exe are not present. I used a version of explorer.exe from a working PC and can get the desktop to show, but the internet connection is not established. I am not sure where/how to save this version of explorer.exe if that is what I should even do. Any help is greatly appreciated. Below is the my logfile from HijackThis.
