I have no sound on my computer.what do i do

Hello,
my computer has no sound now.i had sound until i got a virus and i had to have it fixed .when i got it back i relized i didn't have no sound at all.what do i do in order to get to sound back.i have windows xp and the name of the computer is E machine.I've asked everybody i could think of to help me to get the sound back on my computer and they all said they don't know how to fix it.

Hi,
Please check your audio options in the control panel.
Install the audio drivers from motherboard cd or you can download the audio
drivers from the manufacture website and install it.
