Hello,
I have a 1 year old Toshiba laptop that keeps turning off the last 2 weeks. Sometimes it happens immediately and sometimes after a few minutes. I cleaned the heatsink with q tips and alcohol and the fan with compressed air. Ater assembling it back together, my laptop continues shutting down. Core temp reads at 40 and 50 C before it turns off. I think that before cleaning it, it would read 50C-60C. WHat can I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS. My friend has the same model laptop and I've tried switching batteries as well as power cables with the same results. Also, even though my friend's battery is fully charged, on my computer it appearsempty and does not display the charging animation on the taskbar.

Dear Sir,

Please consider checking whether the problem is coming from your power supplying unit.

Thanks.
