Internet Explorer connection not working

I have spent hours just today trying to figure out how to get IE8 working. My desktop has 2 profiles set up. My profile is the Administrator. No matter what I do, I cannot access the internet with my profile. This wasn't always the case. It's only been like this for the past 3 months maybe. Not sure what changed. The other profile can access the internet without any problems. I have gone through Internet Options and everything is set as it should be but still no luck. I created another admin profile and that seems to work just fine.

Can anybody please tell me how I can get this fixed? This is driving me crazy.

Dear Sir,

Please get confirmed whether the problem is really coming from the Internet Explorer and not the connection set up by using an alternative browser and indicate for further help.

To answer your question, yes the problem is coming from Internet Explorer. I spent hours reading on this issue and others are having the same problems with IE8, however the suggestions they implemented does not solve the issue.

I created another administrator profile and the problem did not occur. This is only an issue on my profile. Originally we were having connection problems on both profiles. The cable guy changed the settings for the 2nd profile and thus getting rid of the issue. My profile was not changed and the problem still remains.

The error message says that IE is trying to start with disabled add-ons and it asks for me to manage the add-ons in order to connect. I Enabled all add-ons but this did not change anything. I know the issue is with the add-ons but I don't know how to fix it.

Oh one more thing...I am able to connect to the internet with other browsers
