Ipod touch wont stay charged

Well i washed my i pod touch its all dry and it works but only when its plug in to the wall and wont stay charged and i found out that when i plug it in to my laptop it will just flash any ideas what i can do to fix it

Hi there,

Electronic chip is damaged ,get to someone good in electronics or repair center and let them see if this can be repaired or too late.
