i need ipod help!!!! Closed

Question

when i plug in my ipod touch into my laptop it charges but itunes dosent come up and when i bring up itunes manually it dosent show my device,but when im at my grandmas or some1 else house with my laptop i plug my ipod into my laptop and itunes comes up automaticly and it shows my device and the annoying part is that my grandma lives in hammond and i live in vacherie.plz help!!!!!
