Hello,
Try this 1.
1) Try changing the screen resolution.
Right-click on the desktop --> Select "Screen Resolution".
Now try changing your screen resolution
2) Use the proper combination keys(like Fn+F5/the function key that's having the
monitor symbol on it) to toggle between your laptop screen and the external
monitor.
3) Try reconnecting the VGA cable connecting the laptop and monitor.
