No audio on my toshiba satellitte L505D-S598
Solved/Closed
Hello,
Can someone please help? I be grateful
I have no audio on my toshiba satellitte L505D-S5983.
It troubleshoots the problem when I click on the volume speaker on my toolbar and tells me that hardware changes may not have been detected.
I haven't tried downloading anything so I have no idea what it is talking about.
I also went to my device manager and it told me there was a problem with the High Definintion Audio Controller, but it won't let me fix it and install it I guess.
Can anyone help me I am not that technology inclined.
Although I did do windows updates just to see if it would pick it back up and nothing happened. I also tried to restore my laptop to a later date, but that didn't work either.

Hello,
Try reinstalling the audio drivers. You can download the drivers from the
manufacture website and install it.
Click on the below link and follow the instructions.
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=2439388&rpn=PSLV6U&modelFilter=L505D-S5983&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768663
Select your "Operating System" from the drop down menu --> In "Categories",
select "Sound" from the drop down menu. Now download the drivers and install
it.
Good Luck.
