Ie doesnt work even if connected to internet

Hello,

i am having problems opening internet explorer. i have been using mozilla most of the time and not the windows internet explorer. one day, i decided to open it, but the homepage wont show up or IE will just hang and into "Not Responding" mode. i have no idea what to do or how to fix it. even though i dont use IE more like i use mozilla, i still would want it to be running normally. Please guys, if anybody could help me with this. would really appreciate it... thanks guys!=)
