No internet connection

Hello,

My window7 laptop can't connect wirelessly to the internet when my desktop is on. I mean it shows that the connection is fine, but can't open any website. Works fine when my Windows XP desktop is off. Please help.

If all cables are securely seated and the LEDs are lit appropriately, then:

1. Power off the router.
2. Power the router on again.
