Connection on PS3

Hello, what if i have wireless connection for my ps3 and my connection is amazing and works with everything else but when i go online in call of duty black ops i cant even play because it is so laggy?

Please help and thanks for solving the problem.

how does laggy in the went setting it up or went the game startin the main meun
