My Passport Essential 320GB not working! Closed

Hello, 
My WD hard drive no longer works. I started using it earlier this year but only last week i realised that there were 2 USB connections for it! I was using the longer cord all along and now it does not work; its not going in HDD because i believe it's bent. The hard drive is not even reading the USB 2.0 cord and i have all my files & data on the hard drive and there seems to be no way i can retrieve it! 

Neither cords are fitting in the Hard drive and i need my stuff of!!! Could somebody pleaseeeeeeeeee help me in getting my files of some way, some how!!! Thanks :)

which type of cable goes into your hard drive? is it like in link1 or link 2?

what you can do is open up the hard drive case and see if u have better luck fitting the cable in..if this doesnt work, there still is a way to get the data but it will be very complex and you may need a professional to help you. Let me know if you need to use this method. If you can access the data at least once, save what you can and get another hard drive. Good luck
