Hello,

Please be patient with me as I am not very computer-savvy technically-wise.

I have;

- a Compaq Presario SR2177CL Desktop PC with Windows Vista Home Premium and
- a DELL Inspiron 1300 Laptop with Windows XP Home Edition SP2 and a Dell 1470 Internal Wireless 802.11a/b/g card

they are connected into a home wireless network with a BELL 2Wire Gateway (www.2Wire.com) wireless router.

I also have two Printers;
- an HP Officejet 5510 all-in-one and
- an EPSONStylus CX7400

I can presently print to either of these computers from the Desktop PC.

How do I set my system up so that I can print 'wirelessly' to either printer from my laptop?

You can "share" the printers from the desktop using Vista. This will require you to have the desktop running when you want to print from the laptop. See this Microsoft site:

Just follow the instructions from the printer manufacturer. You didn't tell us what version of Windows you have. The printer might come with custom set-up software or you can download it from the internet. The procedures vary too must to give you exact instructions.

Good Luck
