Hello,
My toshiba laptop was working perfictly and later that day it wouldnt work. When i turn it on it shows me the TOSHIBA screen and then goes to a black screen that says in small letters at the top " IDE #0 ERROR". Is there anything I can do when this happens? Or do i need a system disc or some other type of repair?? Thank you for reading i appriciate it.

Hello,
Try this 1
Go to BIOS --> Load the default settings --> Make sure your Hard drive is
detected in the BIOS --> Set the first boot device as hard drive --> Save the
settings and exit from the BIOS.
Good Luck
