Not seeing my hard drive

Hello, I have a 2003 big blue dell dimensions xps desktop that is telling me that it doesn't see my hard drive. I installed a new hard drive and the same thing is happening, the computer doesn't see the hard drive. Please help! Keep in mind I am in no way a computer guy.Thank's for any help you can give.

Hello,

Try this:
Go to BIOS --> Make sure your hard disk is detected in the BIOS --> Set the first boot device as hard disk -->
Save the settings and exit from the BIOS.
